Clean as you Go!
When cooking, you can save yourself the headache of a pile of dishes and
cleaning up at the end of the meal by cleaning as you go. Wipe away any
spilled grease or sauces immediately, it will be easier than waiting
until the end of the evening as the stains harden over time making it
harder to clean later.
Fast After-the-Feast Cleanup
Keep
a large bowl near your prep area for trimmings
and garbage so that cleanup is as quick as tipping the contents of the
bowl into the trash can – it’s that easy! Wash prep dishes, measuring
spoons and jugs as you are done using them so that by the time you and
your family sit down to eat there won’t be any dirty dishes in the sink.
Double- or triple-line the trash can, so you already have a clean bag in place when a full bag is removed.
Microwave Miracle
Clean the microwave by mixing 1/2 cup white distilled vinegar and 1/2
cup water in a microwave-safe bowl. Bring it to a rolling boil inside
the microwave. Baked-on food will be loosened, and odors will disappear.
Wipe clean.
